16 October, 2025 14:18

Pakistan Railways has introduced a revised winter schedule for passenger trains nationwide, effective from October 16. The updated timetable features slight modifications to the departure times of 16 trains, adjustments to station stops, and the reintroduction of several services.

Under the new schedule, three trains have had certain station stops removed, while four previously suspended trains have been reinstated and incorporated into the timetable.

Key timing changes include the Allama Iqbal Express departing from Sialkot at 7:30 AM instead of 7:00 AM, Narowal Passenger now leaving at 7:25 AM instead of 7:00 AM, and the Faiz Ahmed Faiz Passenger departing Narowal at 5:00 AM rather than 5:30 AM. The Awam Express will now depart Karachi at 8:00 AM, a change from the earlier 7:30 AM, and the Shalimar Express from Lahore will leave at 7:10 AM instead of 7:30 AM.

In addition, nine trains that had previously been granted temporary stops at various stations have now been given regular stop status. These trains include Rehman Baba Express, Karachi Express, Shalimar Express, Jaffar Express, Pak Business Express, Pakpattan Express, Tezgam, and Millat Express.

This updated winter schedule aims to improve passenger convenience and enhance the overall efficiency of Pakistan Railways services during the colder months.
