Sharjeel Memon Promises Better Facilities for Traders, Farmers

Karachi: Senior Minister Sindh, Sharjeel Memon, held a press conference in Karachi, emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting the business community and improving economic conditions.

Sharjeel Memon stated that the business community is the backbone of the country’s economy and that providing facilities to traders will help improve the overall economic situation. He mentioned that both federal and provincial governments are moving in the right direction.

The minister highlighted that the Sindh government is providing farmers with fertilizers and urea to support agriculture. He also shared that President Asif Ali Zardari met with Chinese traders during his recent visit and invited Chinese investors to come to Pakistan. According to Memon, the president assured that free land would be given to Chinese companies willing to invest.

Sharjeel Memon also praised the success of the Khairpur Special Economic Zone, which recently received an international award. He emphasized that the Sindh government is serious about attracting investors and developing infrastructure projects such as motorways and other schemes.

Regarding health services, Memon said that the health sector is given the highest priority, and Karachi offers the best healthcare facilities in Pakistan. He challenged other provinces to match Sindh’s level of health services.

The minister also mentioned ongoing projects to improve roads and other infrastructure, including the state-of-the-art Dhabeji Economic Zone and work on Shahrah-e-Bhutto.

Sharjeel Memon concluded by affirming that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government in Sindh has delivered excellent results across all sectors.
