Gold prices increase by Rs1800 per tola in Pakistan - check new rates
Gold prices in Pakistan went up again on Saturday, following a rise in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 1,800 per tola, reaching Rs 433,662. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold went up by Rs 1,543 to Rs 371,795, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs 1,414 to Rs 340,824.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $18 per ounce, reaching $4,113.
Silver prices also went up both locally and globally. In Pakistan, 24-karat silver rose by Rs 57 per tola to Rs 5,124, and 10 grams of silver increased by Rs 49 to Rs 4,393. Internationally, the price of silver jumped by $0.3 per ounce, reaching $4,872.
This rise comes after a sharp drop over the last three days, when gold prices in Pakistan fell by more than Rs 12,000 per tola after hitting an all-time high earlier in the week.
