Who Is OTK Co-Founder Mizkif? Twitch Streamer Faces Abuse & Se*ual Assault Allegations from Ex-Partner Emiru
American YouTuber and Twitch streamer Mizkif, born Matthew Rinaudo on February 16, 1995, in Montclair, New Jersey, has found himself at the center of grave allegations.
Known for his engaging gaming streams, reaction videos, and real-life collaborations, Mizkif began his streaming journey in 2016. As a co-founder of the gaming collective One True King (OTK), he has amassed over 1 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 2 million followers on Twitch. His work in the streaming space has earned him accolades, including the Best Just Chatting Streamer award at the 2021 Streamer Awards.
However, Mizkif’s reputation now faces turmoil following accusations made by fellow streamer Emiru, whose real name is Emily Schunk. During a Twitch broadcast on October 25, Emiru publicly accused Mizkif of psychological and domestic abuse, stalking, harassment, sexual assault, and threats of blackmail.
“Today I’m finally going to be opening up about the psychological and domestic abuse, stalking and harassment, sexual assault, and threats of blackmail that Mizkif has done towards me — and some of these issues are still ongoing,” Emiru said during her stream.
Emiru and Mizkif, who previously dated and lived together in Austin, Texas, near other OTK members, reportedly experienced repeated conflicts during their relationship. Emiru stated she had remained silent for much of the year but decided to speak out after hearing about alleged similar behavior involving Mizkif and another person.
The streamer described an incident in which Mizkif allegedly initiated unwanted physical contact, despite her discomfort.
“At the time, I was still making excuses for him, and I was still afraid of causing trouble for other streamers around us,” she said.
Emiru further claimed Mizkif made indirect threats through mutual acquaintances and attempted to involve others in a defamation campaign against her.
“For a while, he has been indirectly threatening me through my friends and people that I work with,” she explained.
She also recounted an episode at TwitchCon, alleging Mizkif threatened one of her staff members and intended to spread claims that she mistreated her deceased rabbits.
“I’m sure he’s probably listening now and it’s probably going to come as quite a shock to him that this information made its way back to me and that I’ve known for months. But if you try to threaten me to stay quiet, especially using my poor dead animals, I’m not going to stay quiet,” she added.
Emiru presented screenshots of messages she claimed were from Mizkif, allegedly sent after she cut off communication with him. She also revealed that she is pursuing restraining orders against him in both Texas and California.
As of now, Mizkif has not made any public statements regarding the accusations.
Additionally, Emiru criticized Twitch for what she described as insufficient security measures at TwitchCon, where she alleged she was assaulted. Her comments have sparked further debate about safety standards at major streaming events.
