NADRA launches online marriage registration in selected districts
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced an online marriage registration service at the Union Council level, making the process easier and faster for citizens.
According to NADRA, people can now register their marriages through the Pak ID mobile app in the relevant Union Council. After registration, the marriage certificate can also be downloaded directly from the app’s ID wallet.
In the first phase, this facility is available in the following districts:

Chakwal: 71 Union Councils

Jhelum: 44 Union Councils

Nankana Sahib: 65 Union Councils
NADRA said this service will gradually be expanded to all areas of Pakistan in the coming months.
Earlier, NADRA had launched online registration for births and deaths, allowing people to complete the process from home without visiting Union Council offices.
This new step brings Pakistan closer to the goal of a Digital Pakistan, making public services more convenient and accessible for everyone.
