Gold prices rise by Rs3,700 in Pakistan - check new rates
The price of gold in Pakistan has dropped by Rs1,600 per tola, according to national media reports. Despite the decrease, the new rate of gold still stands above Rs422,000 per tola.
As per the latest data, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,600 per tola, bringing it down to Rs422,562. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs1,372, making the new rate Rs362,278 per 10 grams.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also went down by Rs1,257, setting the new rate at Rs332,100.
In the international market, gold prices dropped by $16 per ounce, bringing the new global rate to $4,002.
Meanwhile, the price of silver in Pakistan declined by Rs65 per tola, with the new rate recorded at Rs5,127 per tola.
