Lahore Set to Open Pakistan’s First Giraffe Café at Safari Park

Lahore is soon to become home to Pakistan’s first-ever Giraffe Café, an exciting new attraction at the city’s Safari Park. The announcement was made by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz through a social media post, creating buzz about the unique wildlife dining experience.

The café, inspired by similar wildlife-themed cafés in Kenya and Thailand, will allow visitors to enjoy their meals while interacting with giraffes in an open-air, natural setting. The project follows the recent arrival of two giraffes from South Africa, who will be the star attractions of the café. The Giraffe Café is being built on elevated platforms, providing safe, up-close encounters with the animals.

In her post, Maryam Nawaz shared her excitement, stating, “The giraffes have just arrived! Stop by, say hello, and sip your coffee while they make themselves at home.”

The café aims to combine wildlife interaction with a relaxed dining experience, appealing to tourists, families, and social media enthusiasts alike. Officials anticipate the café will become a major draw for visitors looking to engage with wildlife in a unique, interactive environment.

While the official opening date has yet to be announced, construction is currently underway, and final preparations are expected to be completed soon. The Giraffe Café is poised to be a landmark addition to Lahore’s growing list of attractions.
