The Meteorological Department has issued weather forecasts indicating localized rainfall across certain regions of Pakistan.

According to official reports, most areas of the country will experience dry conditions today, while hilly regions are likely to remain cold during morning and nighttime hours. Continuous dry spells coupled with air pollution are expected to keep several districts of Punjab enveloped in smog, prompting authorities to advise residents to adopt precautionary measures.

In Islamabad, weather conditions are predicted to remain dry and cold. The hilly terrains of Murree, the Galiyat region, and surrounding localities are also expected to see dry conditions. Smog is anticipated in urban centers including Lahore, Gujranwala, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Multan, and adjacent areas.

Similarly, most districts of Sindh and Balochistan are forecasted to experience cold and dry weather. Scattered rainfall may occur in Chitral, Dir, Bajaur, and Kurram. Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to remain cold and dry.

Starting tomorrow, rainfall is predicted in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and northern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with snowfall likely over mountainous regions. Light rain may also affect Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and the wider Potohar region, while Murree is expected to witness cloud-induced precipitation.

Over the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed across most areas of the country, whereas hilly regions experienced cold conditions. Smog persisted throughout numerous districts in Punjab.
