Who was Sheroz Afzal Ansari? 22-year-old police constable commits suicide
A tragic incident took place in Ferozewala’s Wadala Dayal Shah area, where a 22-year-old police constable allegedly took his own life.
According to police reports, Constable Sheroz Afzal Ansari shot himself in the forehead with his service pistol at his home. Officials said he was 22 years old and was set to get married in a few months.
Sources revealed that Sheroz Afzal was part of Punjab Constabulary Battalion No. 7 and was currently posted at MPA Hostels in Lahore for security duty.
Following the incident, Ferozewala Police shifted the body to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for postmortem. Further investigation into the case is underway.
