Babusar Naran Road Closed to All Traffic Due to Snow and Severe Cold
The Babusar Naran Road has been closed to all types of traffic, authorities announced.
Deputy Commissioner Diamer, Ata-ur-Rehman Kakr, “has issued a notification” stating that heavy snowfall and extreme cold have forced the closure of Babusar Top and adjoining areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the notification, “the snowfall has created dangerous and slippery conditions, and no measures are being taken to clear the snow.”
In light of the severe weather forecast, security personnel have been redeployed in Diamer and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. The notification confirms that “Babusar Road has been closed to all traffic until further notice,” with the order effective from November 29.
Authorities have urged travelers to avoid the area and exercise caution due to hazardous road conditions.
