Saudi Arabia Grants $90 Million to Support Palestinian Treasury

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has issued a $90 million new grant to financially support the Palestinian treasury.

Estephan Salameh, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Planning and Aid Coordination at the Prime Minister’s Office – Palestine, has received the amount at the Saudi Embassy in Amman during a meeting with Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan and the Non-Resident Commissioner for the State of Palestine.

However, this financial assistance from Saudi Arabia is part of continued support for the Palestinian Authority in 2025.

In light of the financial help, Hussein Al-Sheikh, Palestinian Vice President, remarked in his statement that the Saudi grant will strengthen Palestinian financial stability in difficult economic circumstances, praising Saudi Arabia’s consistent and strong stance for the rights of the Palestinian people.

Sharing his thoughts regarding Palestine freedom, Prince Mansour bin Khalid, Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, stated that Saudi Arabia stands by its historic position of supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the establishment of an independent state.

Furthermore, he predicted that financial assistance will help the Palestinian government fulfill its responsibilities and play a significant role in alleviating the problems of the people in important sectors, including health and education.
