UAE to offer 54GB free mobile data: Who can get it?

To celebrate the UAE’s National Day and Eid Al Etihad, Etisalat and (e&) have again announced a big gift for their customers — 54GB of free local data. This offer will be available from December 1 to December 7. Etisalat has also launched several other special deals across its services for the holiday period.

The UAE’s second-largest telecom company, du, has also joined the celebrations by offering special discounts and exclusive deals for Eid Al Etihad, giving customers even more reasons to enjoy the festive week.

Who Can Get the 54GB Free Data?
The free 54GB data offer is open to all Emirati customers using postpaid or prepaid plans. It is also available to all postpaid subscribers, making it easy for many users to benefit from this promotion.

Earlier this month, e& UAE, the main telecom arm of the global technology group e&, announced a major achievement. The company successfully completed the world’s first IP+DWDM dual-800GE innovation.

According to their press release on November 25, this breakthrough will help speed up digitalisation in the UAE and support new technologies like 5.5G, cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence.

The UAE technical team carried out full testing of the end-to-end IP+DWDM dual-800GE system. The trial used e& UAE’s EMIX core network over an 800G DWDM system. EMIX, run by e& UAE, is an important regional gateway that provides internet transit services to different ISPs across the Middle East.
