Blizzard Hits Several US States, Heavy Snowfall Disrupts Life

Several states in the United States were hit by a blizzard, with buildings, homes, and roads covered with more than two feet of snow.

Snowfall continues in various states of the United States. Whiteness covered everything in New York, Illinois, and Michigan. After heavy snowfall in Alaska, the mercury dropped below freezing. Thousands of flights were canceled and delayed across the country.

According to American media reports, the city of Chicago has set a record for the most snowfall in November. 8.4 inches of snow have fallen at Chicago Airport. Hundreds of flights have been canceled and delayed due to bad weather.

The US Meteorological Department has predicted that the cold weather will intensify with rain, freezing winds, and snowfall in most parts of the country starting today.

Kansas, Nebraska, and several states on the East Coast could be hit by a snowstorm, with Pennsylvania and New Jersey also likely to experience snowstorms. Affected areas are expected to receive 6 inches or more of snow.

On the other hand, a warning of heavy snowfall has been issued in the United Kingdom next week. According to British media, snowfall is likely in England and Scotland on December 9th and 10th.
