Who is Junaid Safdar’s Second Wife? Maryam Nawaz’s son tie the knot again

LAHORE — December 8, 2025: Junaid Safdar, the son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is preparing for his second marriage. Reports on Monday revealed that a new match has been finalised with another well-known political family.

According to sources, Junaid Safdar will marry the granddaughter of senior PML-N leader Sheikh Rohail Asghar. She is the daughter of Ali Rohail Asghar, which makes this marriage a union between two influential families within the party.

Sources also confirmed that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and the entire Sharif family have approved the marriage. A joint family event has already taken place as part of the early celebrations.

The wedding is expected to be held either in the last week of December or in January, depending on the final schedule.

This will be Junaid Safdar’s second marriage. He was previously married to Ayesha Saif, daughter of former NAB chairman and Qatar-based businessman Saifur Rahman Khan. The couple tied the knot in London in 2021 but divorced amicably in October 2023.

With preparations underway, both families are expected to announce the final dates soon.
