MG Pakistan launches Binguo EV – Check prices and features

MG Pakistan has officially entered the electric hatchback market with the launch of its Binguo EV. The company shared the vehicle’s specifications and pricing on social media, presenting it as a modern, city-friendly electric car for Pakistan.

Power and Performance

The Binguo EV is powered by a 31.9 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, known for stability and long life. It has an electric motor producing 67 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque, offering enough power for city driving. MG claims a WLTP-rated range of 273 kilometers on a single charge, helping reduce range anxiety for daily commuters.

Charging Options

The car supports different charging methods:

• DC fast charging: 30% to 80% in about 35 minutes

• Standard AC charging: 20% to full in around 5.5 hours

Design and Features

The compact hatchback measures 3,950 mm in length with a 2,560 mm wheelbase. It has 15-inch steel wheels and modern LED front and rear lights.

Inside, the 10.25-inch LCD infotainment display supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a four-speaker audio system for entertainment.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Standard safety features include:

• Dual front airbags

• Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD)

• Rear parking camera with sensors for easier maneuvering

The Binguo EV is priced at PKR 5,999,000 (ex-showroom). As a fully imported model, it targets urban buyers seeking an efficient, feature-rich electric hatchback with the support of a trusted international brand.
