Gold Price Drops Rs4,000 per Tola in Pakistan Amid Global Downtrend

Gold prices in Pakistan saw a notable decrease on Tuesday, following a downward trend in international markets.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola declined by Rs4,000, reaching Rs450,862. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs3,429 to Rs386,541, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, gold had experienced a rise of Rs2,600 per tola, climbing to Rs454,862 in the local market.

Internationally, gold prices dropped by $40, settling at $4,285 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at Rs6,532 per tola, showing no significant change.

This decline reflects continued volatility in the global precious metals market, impacting traders and investors in Pakistan.
