Gold prices rise in Pakistan – December 18, 2025: check new rates

Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Thursday, following an upward trend in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold increased by Rs2,200 per tola, taking it to Rs455,762. The price of 10 grams of gold also went up by Rs1,800 and reached Rs390,742, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

A day earlier, on Wednesday, gold prices had already seen a strong rise of Rs2,700 per tola, closing at Rs453,562. This shows a continued surge in gold rates over the past two days.

In the global market, gold prices increased by $22 to reach $4,334 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Silver prices also moved up in Pakistan. The price of silver increased by Rs78 and closed at Rs6,900 per tola.
