Gold prices in Pakistan have risen by 2,000 rupees per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, “with a 2,000 rupee increase, 24-carat gold is now priced at 472,862 rupees per tola in the local market.” Additionally, the price of ten grams of gold increased by 1,714 rupees, reaching 405,402 rupees.
Silver prices also saw a notable rise, with “the per tola rate increasing by 500 rupees to reach a record 7,705 rupees.”
On the international front, gold prices surpassed 4,500 dollars per ounce, reflecting strong global demand and market trends. Analysts attribute the surge in local prices to fluctuations in the international gold market and increased investor interest in precious metals.
