Kuwait Court Hands Death Penalty to Two Indians in Narcotics Case

Two Indian nationals have been sentenced to death in Kuwait for drug smuggling.

According to regional media reports, a Kuwaiti criminal court handed down the death penalty to two Indian citizens found guilty of smuggling a significant quantity of narcotics.

The two men were apprehended in the Kaifan and Shuwaykh areas. During the operation, authorities seized 14 kilograms of heroin, 8 kilograms of methamphetamine, and two electronic weighing scales.

In court, the prosecution successfully proved that the defendants were members of an international drug trafficking network operating within Kuwait. According to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, investigators identified the suspects following intelligence gathering and a period of close surveillance.
