Lahore Zoo to extend visiting hours from February 2026 – check ticket prices

LAHORE: The Lahore Zoo administration has decided to extend its visiting hours from February to offer night-time activities for visitors. The move aims to attract more tourists and families to the zoo.

According to a senior official, people will soon be able to visit Lahore Zoo even after sunset. At present, the zoo remains open from 9:00 am until sunset and operates seven days a week.

Under the new plan, several popular sections will stay open during night hours. These include the lion enclosures, Reptile House, fish aquarium, and the Hologram Zoo. The zoo will also be decorated with attractive lighting to create a pleasant night-time environment.

The official said the food court will be upgraded, and special entertainment will be arranged for children. Puppet shows will be held in the evenings, while live musical performances will take place on weekends.

Lahore Zoo New Timings

Initial reports suggest that the zoo will remain open until 9:00 pm. On weekends, the timings may be extended further due to live shows and other activities.

Lahore Zoo Ticket Prices

The regular entry ticket will remain Rs100 for both adults and children. However, ticket prices for night-zoo sessions, especially on weekends, are expected to be higher because of extra entertainment.

The zoo administration said the final night-time ticket prices will be announced in the coming days once all arrangements are completed.
