JUI-F Senior Leader Maulana Salimullah Khan Tarakai Passes Away

Islamabad | January 13, 2026 — Senior Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) leader Maulana Salimullah Khan Tarakai has passed away, leaving a deep sense of grief in the party and among followers.

JUI-F President Maulana Fazlur Rehman and spokesperson Aslam Ghauri expressed heartfelt sorrow over Tarakai’s death.

Aslam Ghauri said in a statement:
“I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of my brother, Maulana Salimullah Khan Tarakai. I have lost a loyal, courageous, and sincere colleague. His absence will be felt for a long time.”
