Planning to buy a Suzuki Swift? Here’s a new financing option
A private bank in Pakistan has launched a new auto financing option for people looking to buy a Suzuki Swift on installments. With car prices staying high, banks are once again focusing on auto financing to make vehicles more affordable for buyers.
United Bank Limited (UBL) has introduced the UBL Drive scheme, which allows customers to finance all Suzuki Swift variants. These include the Swift GL Manual, GL CVT, and GLX CVT. Under this scheme, buyers can also choose a residual value (RV) option, which lowers monthly installments by delaying part of the car’s payment until the end of the financing period.
According to UBL, the price of the Suzuki Swift currently ranges from around Rs 4.46 million to Rs 4.77 million, depending on the model. Customers can select different down payment options, starting from about Rs 1.34 million.
The Suzuki Swift GL Manual, priced at Rs 4.336 million, requires an initial payment of Rs 1.344 million. The remaining amount can be financed. With standard financing, the monthly installment is around Rs 103,000, while the RV option reduces it to about Rs 69,567.
For the Swift GL CVT, priced at Rs 4.560 million, customers who pay Rs 1.596 million upfront can get monthly installments starting from Rs 68,711 under the RV plan. The top model, Swift GLX CVT, priced at Rs 4.719 million, has a monthly installment of around Rs 69,128 with the residual value option.
UBL explained that while regular financing plans have higher monthly payments, the residual value plan offers lower installments but requires a larger payment at the end.
The bank said interested buyers can apply through the UBL Drive portal. The offer is available for a limited time and only at selected branches. Prices, installments, and financing terms may change, and all applications will be reviewed under the bank’s standard rules.
Auto financing is becoming important again in Pakistan as high car prices and interest rates continue to affect buyers in the local market.
