Zendaya’s Fee for Euphoria Season 3 Revealed: How Much Is She Earning Per Episode?

15 January, 2026 16:31

Zendaya has moved far beyond being just the face of Euphoria. With Season 3 on the horizon, she has reportedly become the show’s biggest financial commitment as HBO prepares to launch its most expensive season yet. Following the release of the highly anticipated trailer, attention has shifted from plot speculation to the Emmy-winning star’s record-setting paycheck.

Zendaya’s reported salary for Euphoria Season 3

Industry insiders suggest that Euphoria Season 3 carries a production budget close to USD 200 million, averaging approximately USD 25 million per episode. A significant portion of this increase is attributed to cast salary renegotiations, led by Zendaya.

According to Puck News, Zendaya reworked her contract ahead of the new season and is expected to earn USD 1 million per episode. If confirmed, the deal places her among the highest-paid actors currently working in television. Beyond starring as ‘Rue Bennet’, Zendaya also serves as an executive producer, a role she assumed in Season 2, making her the youngest producer nominee in Emmy history.

How her pay compares to the rest of the cast

While HBO has not officially disclosed salary figures, reports indicate a clear pay gap between Zendaya and her co-stars. Sydney Sweeney, who plays ‘Cassie Howard’, is reportedly earning around USD 800,000 per episode, though figures remain unverified. Other estimates suggest Jacob Elordi may receive roughly USD 700,000 per episode, while Alexa Demie is said to earn about USD 600,000. These escalating salaries have reportedly contributed heavily to the show’s soaring production costs.

Zendaya’s rise from Disney star to Hollywood powerhouse

Zendaya’s career trajectory has been marked by steady growth. She began as a Disney Channel star with projects such as Shake It Up, K.C. Undercover, and Frenemies, earning six-figure paychecks early in her career. Her transition into film and prestige television dramatically elevated her status, with Euphoria earning her two Emmys and global recognition.

Her financial success extends beyond television, including major film roles, brand endorsements, and reported multimillion-dollar bonuses from blockbuster projects. At 29, her estimated net worth stands at approximately USD 30 million.

What to expect from Euphoria Season 3

Season 3 introduces a five-year time jump, placing the characters firmly in adulthood. The storyline follows ‘Rue’ in Mexico, navigating deeper ties to the drug world, while major shifts unfold for characters like ‘Nate’, ‘Cassie’, ‘Maddy’, and ‘Jules’. The season will also include a tribute to the late Angus Cloud.

Featuring eight episodes, Euphoria Season 3 is set to premiere on April 12, 2026, airing Sundays on HBO and HBO Max at 9:00 PM ET.
