Beyoncé Celebrates Birthday With Remastered B’DAY Album Release

Beyoncé is marking her 45 birthday with a special celebration of her iconic second solo album, B’DAY, which is being released in a newly remastered version.

AT first Beyonce released B’Day in 2006 which made a major milestone in her career. Through its songs, the album highlighted ideas of confidence, freedom, personal expression and meaningful connections. It included hit tracks like Green Light, Get Me Bodied and Upgrade U.

The singer also aimed the album to have a strong live sound. She said the she wants to create a powerful, upbeat sound while staying true to the live instrumentation that defines R&B.

Beyoncé desired to combine hip-hop and classic R&B features and giving the album a modern sense while stabilizing its traditional sound.

As part of the anniversary release, the singer revisited the album’s original tracks and presented the songs a fresh remastered treatment. The music videos, which were initially filmed on 35mm, have been remastered, given new shades and completed in 4K.

The exceptional release also features the remastered variety of Déjà Vu, showcasing JAY-Z and directed by Sophie Muller.
