Sargodha Fog Disaster: Mini Truck Falls into Canal, 14 Lose Lives

14 people lost their lives, and several were injured in a tragic traffic accident that occurred due to heavy fog in Sargodha.

The accident occurred near the Gulpur Bangla area of ​​Tehsil Kot Momin, where, due to extremely low visibility, a mini truck lost control, skidded off the road, and fell into a dry canal.

According to rescue officials, there were 23 people on board the mini truck who were going to attend a funeral. Rescue teams reached the spot immediately after the accident and started rescue operations. Seven people died on the spot after being crushed under the truck, while the injured were immediately shifted to THQ Hospital.

Seven more injured succumbed to their injuries after reaching the hospital. An atmosphere of mourning prevailed in the area after the incident, while the administration has started an investigation into the causes of the accident.
