Car installments in Pakistan: Minimum salary and age limit

LAHORE: Bank Alfalah has announced a special car installment offer for Overseas Pakistanis who want to buy vehicles for their families in Pakistan. The initiative, titled “Roshan Apni Car”, aims to make car ownership easier with competitive financing rates and flexible repayment options.

Customers can avail financing at a rate of KIBOR plus 1 percent, one of the lowest available rates. The program offers a repayment tenure of two to seven years, allowing buyers to choose a plan that fits their budget.

The scheme is open to both salaried and self-employed Pakistanis working abroad, with specific eligibility criteria:

• Salaried applicants: Age 21–65 at loan maturity, minimum monthly income of USD 3,000, and at least six months of employment with the current organization.

• Self-employed applicants: Age 21–70, minimum monthly income of USD 4,000, and at least one year in the current business.

The offer is linked with Roshan Digital Account services, providing easy access and convenient application channels. The initiative aims to make car financing more accessible while giving overseas Pakistanis structured and affordable options for vehicle ownership.
