Prince William Spotted in Birmingham to Support Aston Villa
Prince William was spotted in Birmingham to watch and support his team Aston Villa in the Europa League against RB Salzburg on Thursday evening, 29 January.
The royal Prince, 43, seems tense during the Europa League match at Villa Park; his facial expressions and holding his hands up to his face represent the ongoing drama on the pitch.

The Austrians had scored two goals against the royal’s favorite club by minute 59. But Aston Villa got one back by minute 64, when Morgan Rogers scored his first Europa League goal of the season, with the equalizer coming a few minutes later by Tyrone Mings and a winning one by Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba shortly after. William was seen celebrating with glee.
The Prince of Wales was seen getting into the action, punching the air as his side scored, and celebrating wildly from a high vantage point alongside the club’s owner and director of football.
William is a passionate Villa supporter and has attended several matches in the past, some of which were with his children, especially his 12-year-old son, Prince George. However, George was notably absent this time.
