10 Security Personnel Martyred as 58 India-backed Terrorists Killed in Balochistan
As India-sponsored terrorists attempted attacks at 12 locations in Balochistan, at least 10 police and security officers accepted martyrdom, and authorities killed 67 militants, according to security sources on Saturday.
According to the sources, there are reports of additional terrorist deaths and losses, and security forces are currently chasing terrorists in several locations.
They added that the security forces and other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) took prompt and efficient action to thwart the attacks carried out by Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH) yesterday night.
Five members of a Khuzdar-based Baloch labor family were also killed in Gwadar during the attacks.
Three children and a woman were among the family members that perished.
In addition to commending the security forces for stopping the terrorist strikes, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif honored the ten soldiers who lost their lives, stating that the country is proud of them.The PM said, “We will keep fighting the threat of terrorism until it is totally eliminated.”
He emphasized that in their resolve to defend the country, the entire country supports Pakistan’s military forces.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces and LEAs for thwarting the terrible assaults while denouncing them.”I honor the courageous sons who foiled the terrorists’ evil plans,” he declared.
The security czar paid tribute to the ten martyrs who gave their lives to stop the attacks, saying that the country is proud of its courageous sons and that the troops who gave their lives are its heroes.”We will never forget the great sacrifices made by the martyrs,” he continued.
Sarfraz Bugti, the chief minister of Balochistan, stated that “these attacks cannot end our resolve against terrorism” and that the police and FC worked together to stop the attacks.
The provincial chief executive also visited a blast site in Quetta and evaluated the security situation, and also met the paramilitary troops and police personnel.
Inspector General Police (IGP) Muhammad Tahir also informed CM Bugti on the security situation.Under no circumstances will anti-state elements be pardoned. While praising the police and the counterterrorism department (CTD) for their prompt and efficient action against the terrorists, the chief minister emphasized that there would be no compromise on peace in Balochistan.
Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar described the attacks as FAH’s “desperate move” in an interview with Geo News.The security personnel were alert at all areas and not taken by surprise […] and this is why such a large-scale attack was thwarted,” he continued.
The federal minister bemoaned the deaths of Baloch labor families at the hands of terrorists from the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and stated that aerial surveillance and pursuit of the terrorists was ongoing.He continued, “The PM is in constant communication [with pertinent authorities] and is fully aware of the situation.”
The event occurred one day after two distinct operations in Balochistan, the nation’s largest province by land size, resulted in the deaths of 41 militants supported by India.
Revealing specifics of the intelligence-based operations (IBO), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday revealed that the engagements were carried out on January 29, where 30 India- supported terrorists were killed down on the fringes of Harnai area.
Eleven more were eliminated in the district of Panjgur.
According to the military’s media wing, in addition to guns and ammunition, the terrorists who were murdered also had plundered money from the bank heist that occurred in Panjgur on December 15 of last year.
Since the Taliban took back control of Afghanistan in 2021, there has been an increase in cross-border terrorist occurrences, which is the context for the anti-terror operations.

According to him, counterterrorism actions last year resulted in the deaths of 2,597 terrorists. He described ten significant terror acts that had occurred throughout the nation, claiming that all of them were carried out by Afghan terrorists and that civilians and soft targets had been purposefully targeted.
