Ayatollah Khamenei Claims US-Israel-Backed Plot Behind Iran’s Recent Riots

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei described the recent riots in the country as a conspiracy by the United States and Israel while making it clear that this conspiracy was foiled by the Iranian nation.

Ayatollah Khamenei said in a statement released on social media that it is not just an accusation that this was planned abroad, but rather the statements of the US president himself are clear evidence of this, in which he addressed the rioters and said, “Keep moving forward; I am coming to help.”

The Supreme Leader said that the recent riots were actually an attempted coup that was being controlled from abroad. The CIA and Mossad used all their resources to foment the coup, but they were defeated.

The Iranian Supreme Leader said that Iran is clashing with the interests of global aggressive powers, so it would not be correct to say that the recent riots in the country were the last.

He said that this series will continue until the enemy is completely disappointed and the Iranian nation will certainly succeed in this mission.

According to the Iranian Supreme Leader, some of the demands of the shopkeepers and traders were legitimate, but the rioters tried to turn the peaceful protest into violence. As soon as the shopkeepers realized the situation, they separated themselves from the rioters.

Ayatollah Khamenei said that the awakening and unity of the Iranian nation thwarted this conspiracy and proved that the enemy cannot succeed in its goals under any circumstances.
