YouTuber Nico Grigg aka NicoIsCold Explores Epstein Island: What He Found on the Island

07 February, 2026 10:55

YouTuber Nico Grigg, widely known as NicoIsCold, has gone viral after attempting to land on Jeffrey Epstein’s former private island. Using drones and jet skis, the 20-year-old influencer reached the shore of Little St. James but retreated after spotting workers filming the area. He later claimed that black SUVs had been stationed outside his Florida home, sparking concerns of surveillance. “I’m not sure what they want or who they are, but I’m posting this here now just in case anything happens,” Grigg said in a social media video.

Grigg’s video, titled “I Snuck Onto Jeffrey Epstein’s Island,” posted on January 30, 2026, shows him and his team traveling to the US Virgin Islands and attempting multiple approaches to the 72-acre property. The footage includes drone surveillance of a mystery boat and people on the island. Despite their efforts, the attempt to land was interrupted by the presence of workers and natural obstacles such as sea urchins.

Little St. James, formerly owned by the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was sold in 2023 to billionaire investor Stephen Deckoff through SD Investments, with plans to transform it into a luxury resort. The island, which was part of a USD 105 million settlement with the US Virgin Islands government in 2022, remains strictly private. Local authorities and property representatives have reiterated that unauthorized access is illegal, regardless of the site’s historical notoriety.

Grigg also shared that an island employee sent a warning message regarding potential arrest if he returned, adding to the intrigue surrounding the viral video. His footage has ignited online debate about trespassing, privacy, and the ongoing public fascination with Epstein’s legacy.
