Matt Batista Epstein Island Video: Trespass Attempt Sparks Viral Debate and Alleged Surveillance

YouTuber Matt Batista recently joined forces with Nico Grigg, also known as NicoIsCold, for a high-risk video titled “I Snuck Onto Jeffrey Epstein’s Island.” Using drones and jet skis, the duo reached the shore of Little St. James, the 72-acre private estate formerly owned by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, but fled after encountering workers filming them. Batista later claimed that he faced unusual surveillance by black SUVs following the stunt.

The collaborative video has gone viral, quickly accumulating millions of views as it documents Batista and Grigg’s attempt to explore Epstein Island, which is currently being redeveloped into a luxury resort by billionaire Stephen Deckoff. During the footage, the content creators identified a mystery boat and several individuals on the property but were unable to venture deeper due to rocky terrain and the presence of sea urchins.

Following the video, Batista alleged multiple incidents of retaliation and surveillance. He reported discovering flat tires on his vehicle and spotting black SUVs with high-beam lights outside his residence. “I’m not sure if these are coincidences, but the timing is extremely strange,” he stated in a social media update. Batista also documented commercial vans and dark-tinted SUVs he claimed were following him, though these reports have not been independently verified by authorities.

Little St. James remains a site of high security and public intrigue. The island, which was central to a USD 105 million settlement between Epstein’s estate and the U.S. Virgin Islands government in 2022, has seen renovations and repainting of its infamous “temple” structure. Despite redevelopment, the property continues to attract investigators, conspiracy theorists, and curious visitors, maintaining its notoriety.
