Metro Bus Service Suspended Between Rawalpindi and Islamabad

The Metro Bus service operating between Rawalpindi and Islamabad has been suspended in anticipation of a possible protest by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to the Metro Bus administration, services from Saddar Station to the Pak Secretariat have been halted. Officials stated that the decision was taken on the directives of the district administration as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order.

In addition to the Metro Bus suspension, the Green Bus service in Rawalpindi has also been temporarily shut down. Sources confirmed that the move was linked to security concerns surrounding the expected PTI protest.

Despite the suspension of public transport services, authorities reported that the overall situation in Rawalpindi remains calm and under control. Citizens have been advised to stay informed through official channels and plan their travel accordingly.
