Sindh govt to launch Youth Card for education, jobs, and sports
KARACHI: The Sindh government has started preparations to launch a Youth Card program to support young people across the province.
The decision was discussed in a meeting held at the Sindh Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mahar. During the meeting, officials directed the Sports Department to prepare a detailed plan to implement the program.
Senior officials, including Sports Secretary Manzoor Ali Mahesar and other department representatives, attended the meeting. They shared their initial ideas and proposals for the Youth Card.
Minister Mahar said the program should be designed in a way that provides maximum benefits to the youth of Sindh. He also said that, on the special instructions of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Sindh Youth Card is expected to be launched before June this year.
The Youth Card will provide young people with access to educational support, skills and vocational training, job opportunities, scholarships, and sports facilities. The main goal of the program is to empower the youth and support their overall development in the province.
