Viral ‘Pinay Gold Medalist’ Face-Off Image Confirmed as AI-Generated, Scammers Behind Jerriel vs ChiChi Hoax
A viral social media image showing a “face-off” between “Chichi” (Vera Hill) and “Jerriel Cry4zee” (Zyan Cabrera) has been confirmed as a digitally fabricated, AI-generated creation. The image, which urged fans to “Choose Your Fighter,” became a central hook in ongoing cyber scams targeting Filipina influencers.
The image features Zyan Cabrera wearing an Olympic gold medal and Vera Hill taking a mirror selfie. However, the investigation confirmed that the image is part of a larger “Ghost File” scam campaign, which manipulates viral content to drive traffic to phishing and malware sites. These scams include the “Pinay Gold Medalist Viral Video Scandal,” hijacking 2026 Winter Olympics news, and the “ChiChi Leaked Video Call” scam targeting Vera Hill.
The evidence points to AI manipulation:
- Evidence 1: The “DoLAI” Watermark – “DoLAI” is a known watermark used in AI face-swapping and image-generation apps, confirming that the image was digitally altered.
- Evidence 2: Zyan Cabrera Figure – The gold medal is a generic AI-generated prop, and the skin texture appears overly smooth with a “plastic” sheen, hallmarks of AI-generated imagery.
- Evidence 3: Vera Hill Figure – The hand holding the phone appears unnatural, and the lighting on her face does not match the body, indicating a composite image.
The investigation concluded with a clear verdict: FAKE / AI-GENERATED. The “Choose Your Fighter” image is not real and was created to exploit fans’ attention using “SEO Poisoning” and “Event Hijacking” tactics, pitting sports prestige against leaked scandal rumours to lure clicks toward malicious sites.
Experts warn users that the image is “bait.” Commenting on or clicking links associated with this content may expose viewers to malware or phishing scams. “Do not engage with these posts,” cybersecurity authorities advise.
This incident highlights the growing risks of AI-generated deepfakes being used to manipulate social media trends and deceive fans of online influencers.
