Priyanka Chopra Jonas Share Her Bollywood to Hollywood Path

Priyanka Chopra Jonas described that the choice of moving Bollywood to Hollywood was not only proficient choice but also a way to handle a hard time in India 

At a Harvard student-led initiative event, Priyanka shares her Bollywood to Hollywood Path. The Mary Kom actress explained the encounters; she confronts during building her career in the United States.

Priyanka looks back her starting years in America and said, “I was going through something at that time and I just walked into this interview, just wrong, you know? When your nerve endings hurt… I heard myself say, ‘I want a legacy. I don’t want a career, I want a legacy.’” Also after that her view of success had change after that, she more added.

The Dostana actress described that moving to Hollywood was not only proficient choice but also a way to handle a hard time in India.

She said, “I was dealing with a lot when it came to my work back in India, and I was trying to survive. My goal was to get another magazine, and that was the only way I could wake up every morning and go through the small role I had to do.”

Regardless of her recognition in India, she only recalled the experience long waiting hours and setbacks

“I waited for like 15 hours and sometimes did not get shot that day. Those were things I had not faced in my career back home. But I did it every morning because I was focused on the long term. I was going for that legacy,”

The Gunday actress, credited her younger self for her determination, she said, “I am so grateful for my younger self. She was brave and strong. Her tenacity and ability to put tears aside, put on my mascara again, and go give that interview 20 minutes later, pulled together, is why I can define success differently today.”

Priyanka more defines about her success in the personal term after getting recognized internationally. She shared, “My measure of success was being able to spend time with family, pick up my daughter from school, and choose work while creating time for family and friends, while managing this career.”

To conclude her interview by saying, “It was because of that girl who ran so fast. I forgave my younger self for the things she did and the choices she made, even if I did not agree with them. I am grateful to her for bringing me where I am today.”
