12 Khawarij Killed in Bajaur Attack, 11 Soldiers Embrace Martyrdom

RAWALPINDI: Security forces successfully foiled a terrorist attack attempt on a joint checkpoint in Bajaur, resulting in the elimination of 12 Khawarij, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During the intense engagement, an attacker rammed a vehicle loaded with explosives into the outer wall of the checkpost. The ISPR confirmed that 11 brave soldiers embraced martyrdom in the resulting blast.

The explosion caused severe damage to nearby residential buildings, leading to the tragic martyrdom of an innocent young girl. Additionally, seven individuals, including women and children, sustained injuries.

Security forces have cordoned off the area, and a sanitization operation is underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the vicinity.
