Yash’s Toxic Plot Leak Rumors: What We Know About the Gangster Movie

18 February, 2026 17:42

2026 continues to thrill film enthusiasts, from starting the year with the action-packed Dhurandhar to honoring the armed forces with Border 2. Yet, the excitement is far from over, as Yash’s next big release, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, gears up for its March 19 premiere. However, with just a month left for its theatrical release, the plot appears to have been leaked online.

Yash’s Toxic: Plot Leak Reveals Gangster Saga

One of the most anticipated films of the year, Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, has mostly kept its story under wraps. But the UAE distributor, Phars Film, accidentally listed the plot on its website, revealing details of the period gangster drama.

The film is set in Goa between the 1940s and 1970s, exploring the rise of a crime syndicate in a post-colonial landscape. The official synopsis reads:

“Set in Goa between the early 1940s and the 1970s, Toxic is a savage action-thriller saga that plunges into the rot festering beneath paradise. In this coastal land of fading colonial shadows and rising crime syndicates, a man forges his empire through blood, fear, and betrayal.”

Rated 18 TBC, the synopsis further hints at a story driven by ambition and survival:

“Power is not granted – it is seized, and it always demands repayment. As smuggling routes become battlegrounds and loyalties unravel into suspicion, paranoia turns into a means of survival. In the end, the only force more powerful than the consequences of his choices is the abyss within him.”

Star-Studded Cast and Production

Helmed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic features Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. This marks Yash’s 19th film and his first collaboration outside the KGF franchise with Prashanth Neel. Shot in Kannada and English, the film will also release in Hindi and other South Indian languages.

The teaser, released on Yash’s birthday, January 8, 2026, faced backlash from the Women’s wing of the Aam Aadmi Party and the National Christian Federation over explicit visuals, but the film remains on track for its March release, clashing with Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
