Ramzan Timings Announced for Motorcycle and Vehicle M-Tag Centres in Islamabad

Islamabad, February 27, 2026: The Islamabad Excise and Taxation Department has announced new Ramzan timings for motorcycle and vehicle M-Tag registration centres. The new schedule aims to provide ease to citizens during the holy month of Ramadan 2026.

Officials said the step will help manage traffic flow and reduce congestion during peak hours. The department urged citizens to follow the updated timings to avoid inconvenience.

24/7 M-Tag Service at Major Toll Plazas

M-Tag services will remain available 24 hours a day at 26 Number Toll Plaza and Phulgran Toll Plaza. These centres will operate seven days a week throughout Ramadan.

This decision is expected to help daily commuters who travel late at night or early in the morning.

Timings for Other Key Locations

Residents can visit the F-9 Park M-Tag Centre from 9 AM to 9 PM.

Additional M-Tag facilities will also be available at police check posts in G-14 and Rawat T-Cross.

Meanwhile, services will operate from 9 AM to 5 PM at the following locations:

• Gulberg Green

• Daman-e-Koh

• Faizabad

• Millat Pur

Citizens can also get M-Tags from centres on Murree Road near Tulip Hotel, the Excise Office, and along Ninth Avenue and Margalla Avenue.

Public Advisory

The Excise Department has requested residents to visit centres according to the announced schedule. Officials said proper planning during Ramadan will ensure smooth traffic management and better public service delivery.

Authorities added that the extended and flexible timings will make it easier for commuters to complete M-Tag registration without delays.
