iPhone Fold storage and pricing revealed ahead of launch

Recent leaks have revealed new information about Apple’s rumored foldable smartphone, the iPhone Fold, ahead of its expected launch.

According to reports, Apple may unveil the foldable device in September, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series. A tipster named Instant Digital shared the details on the Chinese platform Weibo.

The leak suggests the iPhone Fold could come in three storage options:

• 256GB – CNY 15,999 (around $2,330)

• 512GB – CNY 17,999

• 1TB – CNY 19,999

Experts note that Apple usually sets its own pricing for different markets. Analysts at Macworld estimate the base model may cost around $1,999 in the United States.

Reports also reveal the device may include 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, sourced from Samsung Electronics, to support high performance and multitasking.

Apple has not officially confirmed the foldable iPhone or its specifications. More details are expected to emerge closer to the launch date.
