Mahmood Achakzai Unhappy with PTI Leadership Prior to Mardan Rally

Peshawar: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai is likely to not attend the PTI rally to be held in Mardan.

The PTI sources said that Mahmood Khan Achakzai is unhappy with the PTI leadership for not taking him into confidence regarding the Mardan rally.

Party sources said that the date of the Mardan rally was chosen by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, while PTI founder Imran Khan has given the authority to hold the rally and protest to Mahmood Achakzai.

Additionally, the sources also added that Atif Khan had called Mahmood Achakzai regarding participation in the rally, but Achakzai did not express his willingness to participate in the rally.

In this regard, Provincial Minister Meena Khan said that all matters will be looked into in consultation with Achakzai. The orders for the Mardan rally were from PTI founder Imran Khan.
