iPhone 2027 could launch with quad-curved display design

Apple Inc. is preparing for a major milestone as the iPhone completes 20 years in 2027. The first iPhone was launched in 2007, changing the smartphone industry worldwide. Now, reports suggest that Apple may introduce a bold new design to mark the occasion.

According to early leaks shared on Weibo, Apple is working with Samsung Electronics to develop a new display for the anniversary iPhone. The new screen may remove the polarizer layer and use a quad-curved design, giving the phone a more modern look. Apple is also reportedly adjusting the curvature to make the design unique.

This could be a big shift for Apple, as the company has mostly used flat screens for many years. In fact, this design choice influenced many other smartphone makers as well. Now, Apple may be moving back toward curved displays, a style already used by some Android brands.

The new display is also expected to be thinner and more energy efficient due to the removal of the polarizer. However, similar technology has already been tested by other smartphone companies.
