Iran Displays Downed US Jets, Hoists Flags Claiming Victory

Iran loaded the wreckage of American fighter jets destroyed during the war onto trucks and hoisted Iranian flags on them.

According to Russian media, the wreckage of American ships is being loaded onto large trawlers and presented as a failure of the United States and a victory for the Iranian army, while banners are also placed on the trawlers with pictures of the martyred Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei and the current Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.

US President Donald Trump has been claiming that both Iran’s navy and air force have been destroyed; however, Russian media has claimed that Iran also used its Cold War-era fighter jets during the US and Israeli aggression against Iran.

Citing American TV NBC, Russian media reported that during the war, Iran used decades-old F-5 fighter jets to bomb a US military base in Kuwait. Despite having the most advanced air defense system, Iranian planes were successful in attacking US bases in Kuwait, and this was the first time in years that a country’s fighter jets had attacked a US military base.

The American media acknowledged that the Pentagon did not acknowledge the damage Iran had caused to American bases. Not only that, but the Trump administration had ordered private satellite companies to block public access to images of American bases.

The Russian media further reported that at a time when members of Congress are angry that they do not even know the details of the damage caused to the United States, the Pentagon is demanding a record budget.

Moreover, in the initial retaliation, Iran hit 100 targets in the Gulf countries. The hangars, runways, radar installations, and command centers that were targeted in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the Emirates will cost billions of dollars to restore.
