This year 2026 Met Gala theme is “costume art” celebrities attended the event showcasing bold and creative outfits, guests were stimulated to mix luxury with fancy art for the annual fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute on May 4 Thursday in New York.
Met Gala is basically for those celebrities who want to showcase their creativities through their outfits according to decided theme by organizers every year.
Broadway star Joshua Henry started the event by live performance on the iconic Met red carpet steps, setting a lively tone for the night.
Prominent figures who shines the event more such as Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour as co-chairs, along with stars such as Madonna, Sabrina Carpenter, Naomi Osaka, and Angela Bassett,
Bad Bunny, Heidi Klum, and Katy Perry, caught attention almost unrecognizable look with their striking outfits inspired by the theme.
Beyoncé takes over the carpet with her famous family, made her first Met Gala appearance in 10 years, she appeared in the gown with an embellished skeleton design, and added a giant feathered cape by French designer Olivier Rousteing according to decided Met Gala’s theme.
