Hot and dry weather expected in most parts of Pakistan
Most parts of Pakistan are expected to experience hot and dry weather during the next 24 hours. Weather conditions in the central and southern regions are likely to stay extremely hot.
According to the weather forecast, rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms may occur at a few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and nearby hilly areas.
Morning temperatures recorded in major cities were 23°C in Islamabad, 29°C in Lahore and Karachi, 27°C in Peshawar, 19°C in Quetta, 21°C in Muzaffarabad, while Gilgit and Murree recorded 14°C.
For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in Srinagar.
