GB Assembly Elections: Polling Time Ends — Those Inside Polling Stations Can Still Vote

The polling period for the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly general elections has officially come to a close, with voting concluding across all 24 constituency seats in the region.

Voting had been scheduled from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and as the official deadline passed, election authorities confirmed that any voters already present inside polling stations at the time of closure would still be permitted to exercise their right to vote and cast their ballots.

With polling now concluded, the counting process for votes cast across the 24 GB Assembly seats is set to begin, with results expected to emerge in the hours ahead.
