Pakistan Army Secures First Place at UK International Pace Sticking Competition 2026
The Pakistan Army recorded a major international success Pakistan Army recorded a major international success by clinching top awards at the International Pace Sticking Competition 2026 conducted at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK.
Signifying Pakistan, PMA (Kakul) team put up an outstanding performance. The team of nine members took first place global and conquered by winning all major awards. They secured the Overall Team Trophy along with Best Pace Sticker and Best Driller honours.
Extensively seen as a top military ceremonial event, the competition featured 16 teams from various countries this year, making it highly competitive.
The team led by Major Haider Gulzar, Adjutant of PMA Kakul, which reached in the UK on June 5. The team constantly presented discipline, coordination, and precision, exceptional all other participants.
It is a traditional military skill involving accurate marching, timing, leadership, and teamwork. The competition tests the training standards and professionalism of military academies from around the world.
According to officials, the achievement determines the Pakistan Army’s high-quality training and preparation. It also shines the competence and proficiencies of its soldiers on a global stage.
