LESCO announces six-hour electricity shutdown in these areas on June 17
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced planned power outages in several areas of Lahore and nearby regions on June 17 due to maintenance and repair work.
According to LESCO, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM in different areas as part of routine maintenance aimed at improving the power distribution system.
The affected areas include feeders connected to grid stations such as Bhai Pheru, Chuhng, EMCO, Ghazi, Kahna, Khanqah Dogran, Momanpura, Qila Star Shah, Makkah Colony, Sarfraz Nagar, Shalamar, Sukh Chayn, Gajju Matta, Liaqatabad, and New Kot Lakhpat.
Under the Bhai Pheru Grid Station, feeders including BBJ and Manga Mandi 1 and 3 will be affected. Areas connected to the Chuhng Grid Station, including New Chuhng, Shahkam, and ICC Textile feeders, will also experience power outages.
Similarly, electricity supply will remain suspended in areas served by EMCO Grid Station, including Kot Abdul Malik, Madina Glass, and Starlet feeders.
Several residential and industrial areas under Kahna, Sarfraz Nagar, Shalamar, and nearby localities will also face temporary power interruptions during the maintenance period.
LESCO has advised consumers to make necessary arrangements and cooperate during the scheduled shutdown. The company said the maintenance work is being carried out to improve the reliability and efficiency of electricity supply.
Officials added that power supply will be restored immediately after the completion of maintenance work.
