Trump Says Iran Agrees to Strict Nuclear Inspections and Free Navigation in Strait of Hormuz

U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Iran has agreed to allow long-term, high-level nuclear inspections as part of a new understanding between the two countries. Trump described Iran’s reported commitment to extensive monitoring of its nuclear activities as a significant step toward reducing tensions and increasing transparency.
The U.S. president also stated that Iran has agreed to maintain free maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, while the United States will not pursue further naval blockades. According to Trump, ensuring uninterrupted shipping through the strategic waterway is essential for global trade and energy markets.
Trump added that funds released through sanctions relief will be placed in a U.S.-monitored escrow account and used primarily for humanitarian purposes, including food and medical supplies. He said the agreement could contribute to greater regional stability, support international commerce, and help address humanitarian needs within Iran.
