Government cuts jet fuel price by Rs7.15 per litre

The government has reduced the price of jet fuel used by commercial aircraft by Rs7.15 per litre, providing relief to airlines.

Following the reduction, the new price of jet fuel has been set at Rs231.72 per litre. The price cut is expected to significantly reduce fuel expenses for airlines, helping lower their operational costs.

It is worth noting that before the recent tensions in the Middle East, the price of jet fuel was around Rs188 per litre.
