Three Militants Killed in Security Operation After Attack in Hanna Urak, Balochistan

Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove said militants attacked residents of the Hanna Urak area near Quetta on Sunday night, adding that local people resisted the assault and forced the attackers to retreat. Speaking at a joint press conference with Chief Minister’s Adviser Shahid Rind, the minister said a security operation was launched on the directives of the provincial government.

Langove said security forces are continuing operations against the militants in the area. According to the minister, three suspected militants were killed during the operation, while two personnel of the Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) sustained injuries.

Shahid Rind said a sanitization operation would be carried out in Hanna Urak and that security operations would continue until the area is fully cleared. He also warned that authorities would take action against individuals found spreading unverified information through WhatsApp groups, urging the public to rely on official sources for updates.
